E for Ecstasy by Nicholas Saunders
Appendix 1: Reference Section
- 6 Ecstasy Information, from Release, a London drug agency
- According to these notes, it is not correct to call Ecstasy a designer
drug. The term was coined by Dr. Gary Henderson of the University of California
to mean 'substances where the psychoactive properties of a drug are retained,
but the molecular structure has been altered to avoid prosecution'.
